A: Village Green is located in Gilroy, just 15-minutes south of San Jose, CA. We are conveniently located near shopping, religious centers, medical services and recreational venues. Please click HERE for a map and directions to our community.
Q: Where is Gilroy, California?
A: Gilroy, CA is centrally located within a short driving distance of the Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz, San Benito County and the San Francisco Bay Area. Gilroy is located in Santa Clara County, less than 15-minutes south of San Jose on Highway 101.
Gilroy is best known as the “Garlic Capital Of The World”, and is enjoyed for its peaceful, residential environment, its award- winning parks (including Gilroy Gardens), golf course and recreation programs, and for its “urban forest,” for which the city has won “Tree City USA” awards annually since 1979.
Q: What types of housing & amenities are available?
A: The Town Square at Village Green features moderate-income apartments for seniors age 62 or better. One and two bedroom apartments feature full kitchens, individually controlled heating & cooling and generous closet & storage space.
All residents may have access to the community center as well as planned activities, transportation and amenities such as a library, computer center, activity & recreation rooms, fitness center, cable TV and all other common spaces and amenities throughout the campus.
Q: What are the income restrictions to rent at Town Square?
A: Please see below for income restrictions...
1 Resident - income cannot exceed $88,980 annually
2 Residents - income cannot exceed $101,700 annually
3 Residents - income cannot exceed $114,420 annually
4 Residents - income cannot exceed $127,080 annually
5 Residents - income cannot exceed $137,280 annually
Q: Are the Town Square apartments pet friendly?
A: Yes, pets are allowed as long as they weigh less than 25lbs. You are allowed a maximum of two pets. An additional security deposit of $400 per pet is required.
Q: Sounds Great! How do I sign up?
A: Simply stop by our leasing office at 1525 Margareta Place in Gilroy for a presentation of the community and available units. Select your apartment and make a reservation deposit of $400. If for any reason you decide not to move into Village Green, your deposit will be refunded. You can also download a copy of our leasing application here so you can start the process before visiting our leasing office.
Q: What are the Leasing Office hours of operation?
A: Our leasing office is open every Monday through Thursday 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., except for major holidays. Outside of those hours, please feel free to call our office and our after-hours answering service will forward your inquiry to our staff.
Q: How do I gain access to the community?
A: Enter the community though the entry gate located on 3rd Street off of Isabella Way. You will then use the call box to call the Leasing Office and gain access to the beautiful Community of Village Green. Follow the directional signage to the Leasing Office.
Q: Do all household members need to be at least 62 years of age?
A: No, only the head of household is required to be at least 62 years of age.
